Run for the Bibleless
The Bible Society of Lesotho, in partnership with National Association of the Deaf in Lesotho, hosted Run for the Bibleless, a fundraising initiative dedicated to supporting a planned Sign Language Bible Translation.
In Lesotho, thousands of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals lack access to the Bible in a language they can fully understand—Sign Language. This event seeks to bridge that gap by raising funds to support the ongoing translation and production of the Bible in Lesotho Sign Language.
We are invited corporate entities, organizations, and individuals to partner with us as sponsors for this impactful event, which combines community engagement with a life-transforming cause.
Young people were filled with excitement and anticipation as they attended the Bible Society activities for the first time. For many of them, it was a meaningful opportunity to engage with the Word of God in a lively and welcoming environment.
Hon. Mamamello Holomo, Member of the Parliament of Lesotho, and Mr. Khethang Mosole, National Director of Scripture Union, joined many others in participating in the Run for the Bibleless, supporting the mission of making the Bible accessible to those who do not yet have it.
